The objective is to highlight a destination logic to replace an approach reduced to each commune. The offer then becomes much more legible for the visitor.
Each office must know what its neighbours have to offer in order to respond as well as possible to customer expectations: this is a step in the Quality Approach extended to the territory. To do this, it is necessary to train residence advisors.
21 agents or elected representatives of the territory were present on 27 January last for a morning at La Roque d'Anthéron.
On the programme :
- Reception - coffee by the elected representative for Tourism (essential for waking up the neurons)
- Presentation of the press kit produced by the Tourist Office and reflection on the destination Pays de Durance - Pays d'Aix
New market trends; can we meet the new challenges alone?
- Stroll through the streets of La Roque to meet three nuggets: >Marie Douceurs (originality of the offer, typology of the clientele, impact of the health crisis and responses provided); >l'Autre Conserverie (its gourmet production, its adaptation to the crisis, interactions with other local partners); and the >Eden Roque bicycle reception (the extent of a quality service for the benefit of the clientele).
- Debriefing at the Tourist Office
- Discovery of the facilities of the new Durance cycle-road (SMAVD project)
You will find the summaries as well as the results of the satisfaction survey in the attachments.

A land of sensations and temptations
In front, there is the Luberon, the lavender; behind: the Alpilles, Mistral, Pagnol, the Sainte Victoire; in the middle: the Durance river flows...
For the unforgettable moments of an invigorating break at the foot of the slopes...
